Megan Best’s background is in multi-stakeholder engagement, having learned both resilience and adaptivity through working on large-scale cultural activations and festival production. Her academic background includes a BSc in Forestry and Conservation and an MSc in Environmental Sustainability, as well as a Postgrad in Climate Entrepreneurship. Megan’s work is centered around expansive programmes towards transformative change in Ireland’s arts, culture and creative sectors.
Tiziana O’Hara, founder member of Co-operative Alternatives
Tiziana O’Hara has been living in Northern Ireland for the past 30 years and most of her working life has been spent in the local community, voluntary and social economy sector.
Tiziana is the founder member of Co-operative Alternatives (www.coopalternatives.coop), the only co-operative development body in the region, and has a passion for all types of co-operatives (from worker to multi-stakeholder co-ops), embracing the seven principles of co-operation and the values of fairness, equality, and solidarity. Tiziana has worked on a variety of community-led projects with alternative co-operative models in food, farming, housing and energy.
